I painted symptoms of the rReniform nematode, Rotylenchulus reniformis, on an aubergine root.

The painting shows a horizontal root with five root hair cells, two feeding female adult nematodes and one egg sac. The nematodes and egg sac have been painted as though stained with fuchsin pink.
